ABOUT
RIZEK CUSTOM HOMES & REMODELING
Tim Rizek, proprietor, is a native New Mexican and fifth generation
carpenter. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical
engineering technology
from New Mexico State University, where he played football for five years
on scholarship. Tim’s roots in construction go back to his great-great- grandfather,
a Chicago builder and developer. He apprenticed with his grandfather, Steve Rizek,
a well-known local carpenter, and worked summers during college acquiring construction
know-how from the ground up. While his business has grown rapidly since he opened
his doors in 1998, Tim remains a hand-on owner commited to remaining personally
involved with each job his company undertakes. “ I got into the contracting
business because I saw the need for a higher level of quality and realized we
had the ability to offer clients a better working experience every step of the
way to completion,” he says. “I’ve gone from repairing sprinkler
heads to working on some of the finest homes in town, specializing in the North
Valley and Corrales. We also have jobs all over town, from Sandia Heights to
Nob Hill to the South Valley,” he says, “and I have a hands-on
perspective on every aspect of construction.”
Anyone who has worked with Tim will tell you that from the initial meeting
or phone contact with a client to the time a contract is signed, every
aspect of
the job is precisely detailed. He prides himself on his ability to communicate
clearly and always presents as much information as possible on products
and options to allow the customer ultimate flexibility in decision making.
Furthermore,
his
customers agree that Rizek Custom Homes is an exceptionally professional
and reliable outfit, where crews can be relied on to show up on time, at
the agreed-on
time. Tim personally returns all calls and is always available to customers
for questions and consultation. Tim lives in Albuquerque’s North
Valley with his wife, three children and the German shorthair pointers
he raises. |
